Every woman who heals herself heals all the woman that came before her and all who came after her.
As a survivor of domestic violence and abuse, it has been a natural evolution for her as she healed to become an advocate for self-love, self-awareness, and healing. This year she braved the creative process and opened a nonprofit organization called “iamlov”
Joanna believes that there is no better way into a person's heart than in service. For when we are in our hearts, we are LOVE. LOVE HEALS US. Love doesn't hurt…. it heals.
The Butterfly Effect
It is my life’s purpose to restore as many hearts as I can touch with natural and healing modalities. The Butterfly Effect serves as a metaphor for life that speaks to the understanding that when things happen in life they can have a big effect on others. Providing an impact in our world effecting our future. Joanna and her Non-Profit Organization iamlov.org breeds the empowerment of the Butterfly Effect with grand intentions to create change for our communities and in our world, NOW and for our future. Love doesn’t hurt it heals It time to love better and live better because of that love. As an ongoing effort to inspire this shift iamlov offers mindful classes, workshops and retreats developing self-care practices that evoke self-love and healing.

As Ms. Woman of California it is an honor to share with you my platform of love… I am committed to lend my voice, raise the collective vibration, and serve with my platform to amplify women’s voices especially, during this time in our country when needed most. It is Joanna’s honor to share with you her platform of love and study of self-awareness.
The moments she has spent in her heart have given her so much purpose and truly helped her understand her calling in life. That is the most empowering energy she has ever experienced aside from being a mother to four children.

During this extraordinary time in our world Joanna has created and produced healing events that promoted Peace, Love, and Unity.
Such as… a Virtual Summit called “8 day Revolution”, with services from cooking, art, fitness, yoga, laughter, music, and emotional wellness therapy. In addition, “30 Days of Wellness” full of daily Yoga, fitness, and mindful nutrition. Lastly, Joanna organized a “Cruise with lov” a live Global movement in which she cruised for LOVE, PEACE, and Unity alongside the Southern California Coast in conjunction with 5 additional cities, Los Angeles, Washington, and Georgia
Joanna understands there is always a need for the energy of LOVE and the action of SERVICE. As she states, “It is our great purpose to rise and help others rise too!”
Be the Change
Ms. Woman California promotes self-love and self-awareness the cornerstone for healthy relationships raising the awareness and the vibration through healing. Joanna has partnered with the One Love Movement to transform relationships in our community and inspire healthy ways to love. Through educational workshops and presentations to corporations, organizations and teams. Joanna strives to help individuals navigate the grey area between healthy, unhealthy relationships, and finding their life’s purpose.

Passion & Cause
Ms. Woman California is a spokesperson for domestic violence, abuse, and healing. Joanna Supports all forms of healing and understands… She realizes that it is the people that make things happen in life and that YOU and WE are the people, she began to understand how much you really can make a big difference doing little things. in lending her voice as an ambassador for the San Diego community Center and Spokesperson for Domestic Violence and Abuse she not only raised awareness for the surreal reality of trauma and healing but she also raised over $150,000 in sharing her story to aide in the healing supports for others like herself.
Serve With Purpose
-My vision for this year’s passion are in creating fully sponsored and supported healing retreats for survivors of ALL abuse.
-Joanna has started a petition to revamp neighborhood watch signs with awareness, hotline numbers, and vigilance to help end Human Trafficking.
-Currently, she is seeking walls to create Murals with positive affirmations created by survivors to promote healing, self-advocacy, and awareness in the communities.
-Cleaning up California starts with me, complaining about a problem does nothing unless you choose to be part of the solution. One curbside at a time Joanna has committed herself to focus on cleaning up the trash that has depreciated our communities. She is always looking for volunteers and support in this statewide problem.
